A few short months after dropping a stellar list of bands for 2012's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (including Radiohead, the Beach Boys, Bon Iver, Phish, Skrillex, Das Racist, tUnE-yArDs, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers just to name a few), the folks behind the four-day affair in Manchester, TN announced their hotly anticipated comedy lineup, which has been a festival mainstay since 2005. This year's roster of funny folk does not disappoint. We already knew Aziz Ansari would be performing since his name was announced with the initial offering of bands, but he will now be joined by comedy greats such as Steven Wright, Brian Posehn, and "World Champion" Judah Friedlander (perhaps best known as supernerd Frank on 30 Rock). The festival's official website promises more names have yet to be announced, but be sure to check out the full list so far after the jump.

Myxaroo: Saturday & Sunday's Schedule
Presuming I can still walk and haven't been completely demolished by the first two days of rain and heat, I will continue to get down on Saturday and Sunday. Both very full days, but I'm excited mostly for Saturday's lineup, which kicks off with Cheer Up Charlie Daniels, Abigail Washburn and Old Crow Medicine Show. Just when I think I've had enough banjo, I move on to Deer Tick and Mumford and Sons. How can one complain, however, about a night that ends with Buffalo Springfield & Girl Talk?

Myxaroo: Thursday & Friday's Schedule
Happy Music Monday, everyone. Myxaroo is Myxem's Bonnaroo coverage. We've already begun covering some of the awesome bands on the undercard, like Walk the Moon (album review here) and Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside, but it seemed as good a time as any to highlight exactly what we'll be attending during the four-day music festival. Below, the first half (Thursday/Friday) of the Official Myxaroo Schedule...

Myxaroo: Myxem Goes To Bonnaroo; Walk the Moon
Let me start by plainly saying that I love Walk the Moon, so when I was perusing through the bands playing the other stages at Bonnaroo and found they were set to play not once, but twice on Saturday, I got super excited. Their music is the type of music that almost demands to be shouted back by a crowd as they bounce up and down. Every song just drips with pure energy, and with their tight world-music-esque beats, you can almost be certain that their live show will be one of my personal Bonnaroo highlights. What's more, to even further excite me about their live show, aHumanPerson Productions has been following Walk the Moon around lately to film some of their performances. You can check out the whole web series here, and aHumanPerson's twitter here, but one of my personal favorite songs from the album, The Liftaway, is performed live below:
Walk the Moon will be playing Friday, June 10th at 4:30pm at Cafe Where? and later at 7:15pm at the Sonic Stage. If you're going to Bonnaroo, I had better see you there, because this is certainly something I recommend you don't miss.
